Hounds tennis looks to improve this season

Kate Allison graduated, so the Greyhounds will be looking for someone to take over at No. 1 singles. Senior Anne Tyson Vance is a strong candidate to replace Allison, who was all-conference as a senior.

Mary Whitted is another returning player expected to play well for Statesville.

Together, they will try to elevate Statesville’s status in the NPC after the Greyhounds finished fifth in the league last year.
