Poll question change

We decided this morning to remove the poll question regarding U.S. Rep. Patrick McHenry’s reference to a foreign contractor in Iraq as a “two-bit security guard.”
One option as an answer to the question of what readers thought of the issue stated McHenry should apologize for the comment.
In our Wednesday article, McHenry said he regrets the “poor choice of words” to describe the contractor. Whether that is an apology - or a near apology - can be debated. Instead of splitting hairs, we decided to make a replacement.
