‘I will not be intimidated’

Congressional candidate fights back over letter

HICKORY - Republican congressional candidate Lance Sigmon said Monday he would not be intimidated or threatened by a letter from his opponent’s attorney demanding him to remove a TV advertisement from the airwaves or face legal action. U.S. Rep. Patrick McHenry’s re-election campaign, through a Hickory attorney, told Sigmon to remove the TV ad, which touches on a controversial trip the congressman took to Iraq over Easter weekend.
