This video was shown before every town-hall meeting during the primary campaign and served to introduce those in the audience to Sen. McCain’s lifetime of “Courageous Service.”

Coming Aug. 7 — Women’s Club & Men’s Forum will meet at Ryan’s Steak House across from Lowe’s Home Improvement on U.S. 70, Hickory. Both clubs meet at 6 p.m. for dinner and then meet separately at 6:30. A join meeting is at 7.
The speaker this month is U.S. Rep. Patrick McHenry.
A reception for Pat McCrory is Aug. 12 at the home of Lynn and Leroy Lail. Cost is $125 per person.
