McHenry to have homeschool picnic at Winkler Park
What: U.S. Rep. Patrick McHenry’s annual Homeschool Town Hall Picnic
Bring a picnic lunch for this fun educational event for the whole family. Students will hear first-hand what life is like as a congressman, how Congress works, how a bill becomes law and more.
When: Saturday, Aug. 16, from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Where: Winkler Park, next to L.P. Frans Stadium, home of the Crawdads, in Hickory
