McHenry endorses Fetzer for state GOP chairman
RALEIGH
The Fetzer for Chairman campaign announces that U.S. Rep. Patrick McHenry has endorsed Tom Fetzer in the race for state chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party.
McHenry, who is serving in his third term in Congress, cited Fetzer’s record of leadership in making the endorsement.
“Tom Fetzer is a proven fundraiser and an articulate spokesman for our conservative message. I know he will be an outstanding state Republican chairman and I encourage my fellow Republicans to join me in supporting him,” McHenry said.
Fetzer’s campaign is building momentum as he carries his conservative message across the state, meeting with Republican activists and listening to their concerns.
Fetzer said he is “gratified to receive the full support of one of America’s leading conservative voices, Congressman Patrick McHenry. Congressman McHenry is a solid conservative, a proven campaigner and I’m glad to have him on my team.”
Fetzer is from Raleigh.
