Judge Mull’s news release
I am pleased to announce my candidacy for the position of District Court Judge for the 25th District, made up of Burke, Caldwell and Catawba Counties. I presently serve as a District Court Judge with a term that does not expire until the year 2010. I have taken the unusual step of filing for this seat in 2008 so that, if I am successful, my future election cycles will correspond with the Presidential elections every four years hereafter.
I believe that the District Court is truly the “People’s Court” in North Carolina, where every citizen should be able to come to have his case heard by a judge who will take the time to consider it fully and fairly. “Accountability” is a term that is often used when discussing the judicial system, and accountability can best be assured by close public scrutiny. To this end, I invite each of the citizens in the three counties of the 25th District to take some time between now and Election Day to come and observe Court in person. My Court schedule can be reviewed on-line at http://www.nccourts.org, or can be obtained by calling the District Court Administrator at 828-328-5521. Please come to the Courthouse in your county at any time on any day when I am holding Court. If you are satisfied with what you see, then I ask for your vote. Please feel free to contact my campaign committee at with any questions or comments. Thank you in advance for your interest and support.
