Hagan to appear at Lejeune with Obama

WASHINGTON, D.C.

U.S. Sen. Kay R. Hagan (D-N.C.) will join President Obama on Friday morning for his visit to Camp Lejeune. The President will speak about his plan to withdraw troops from Iraq.

Hagan supports a responsible withdrawal of troops from Iraq that will allow our Armed Forces to take the fight to the terrorists in Afghanistan and around the world.

Hagan, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, has toured the Marine Corps Air Station at Cherry Point, as well as Fort Bragg since taking office last month, and she is committed to using her spot on the committee to ensure that North Carolina remains the most military friendly state in the country.
