Democrats plan open house at county headquarters

The Catawba County Democratic Party will have open house at its permanent headquarters on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
The headquarters is in the Haupt office building on the corner of North College Avenue and East Second St. The address is 118 N. College Ave., Suite 4.
The event is free. Refreshments will be served, and party officials and campaign materials will be on hand to kick off regular headquarters hours for the election season.
From now until the Nov. 4 elections, the headquarters will be open Mondays and Wednesdays from noon to 3 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m.to 1 p.m.; and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
